About Pet Lore
Pet Lore is a story-centered platform for preserving the memories, milestones, rituals, grief, and everyday meaning behind a life with animals. The project brings together digital memory-keeping, ethical storytelling, community publishing, and guided reflection to help people document the bonds that shape their lives across pets, people, and time. The Pet Lore app is currently in development as a private space for pet owners to preserve memories, milestones, photos, stories, and shared lore.

The journal publishes thoughtful work about companionship, memory, grief, service and working animals, pet culture, animal care, and the emotional bonds that shape people’s lives across time. Each issue is organized around a theme and designed as a polished digital publication.
