The Shadow Pet
Always nearby, always peeking, always part of the moment
Some pets are not content to be merely in the house — they want to be wherever you are. Around the corner, at the edge of the bed, behind a door, under the table, peeking over furniture, or quietly appearing the second you turn around, they become your constant little companion. In Pet Lore, these photos capture the velcro pet energy: affectionate, watchful, attached, and deeply invested in your whereabouts.

Pet Lore Memory Prompts
A Moment:
Save the story behind the peek: where were they hiding or hovering, what were you doing, and how did they always seem to appear right when you looked up?

A Milestone:
Connect the memory to a season of closeness: working from home, recovery, grief, quiet routines, moving houses, rescue bonding, or the years when they became your tiny, loyal shadow.
A Pattern:
Compare clingy and companionable personalities across pets: the hallway watcher, the bathroom escort, the doorway lurker, the under-the-table guardian, the bed-edge peeker, or the one who simply believed privacy was not part of your relationship.
